Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the West Gippsland Hospital.
Aged 92 years.
Loving husband of Pauline for 67 years.
Dad and father in-law to Suzanne and Brendan, Leonie and John, Janet and Andrew.
Son of Bob and Etta Appleyard (both dec), brother and mate to Betty, Marie, Jean, Heather and Gwenda and partners.
Pop to Jim and Molly, Jase, Tom and Sam, Cate and Hamish.
Great Grand Poppy to Rylee, Billy, Elsie, Hugo and Ned.
He was loved and treasured by every one of us.
We will miss his not so funny Dad jokes, his Carlton banter, his infectious laughter and his gentle and kind nature.

Merv will be very sadly missed by all who had the privilege of being part of his life.
RIP Dad, “See you later mate” and “Go the Blues”.

The Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Mervyn Appleyard will be held at the
Nielsen Funeral Chapel, 2 Korumburra Rd, Warragul on TUESDAY (June 16) at 2 p.m.
​
The Service will also be live streamed.
