At Nielsen Funerals we understand the important role that music can play at a funeral service. The music chosen for a funeral is a matter of personal taste and preference.

Nielsen Funerals can arrange the recorded music of your choice. Once selected by the family,

you can advise us of the names of the songs and artist, if we do not already have your selection in our large library of music we will endeavour to find and download the music and ensure that it is tested before the day of the funeral service. This will save family or friends the time and stress it takes to download and burn the music to a CD.

If deciding on music is going to be difficult, Nielsen Funerals are able to provide you with CD's and suggestions of suitable funeral music, some music suggestions are also listed below.

If the family choose to have hymns sung as part of the funeral service Nielsen Funerals can arrange an experienced organist to play in the Church or Chapel. We can also arrange live vocalists to accompany the organist and lead the singing if required.

At Nielsen Funerals we welcome any special requests that you may have and can assist any family members or friends who may like to sing or perform a musical tribute at the service.

Nielsen Funerals can also arrange for other special musicians such as a lone bagpiper, bugler (for RSL Services), trumpet player or harpist.
