Passed away peacefully at the West Gippsland Hospital, Warragul on May 19, 2025.
In his 94th year.
Dearly loved and loving husband of Mary for over 50 years.
Much loved father of Clare, John, Colin (dec) and Roly, step-father of Stephen, Susan, Peter, Phillip and David, and their partners.
Loved Pop, Great Pop and Great Great Pop.
Loved brother, uncle and friend.

The Graveside Committal Service for Mr John Spong was held at the Drouin Cemetery,
160 Longwarry Rd, Drouin on THURSDAY (May 29) at 1 p.m.
This was followed by a Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate John’s life at the
Nielsen Funeral Chapel, Korumburra Rd, Warragul at 2 p.m.
