Passed away peacefully at the West Gippsland Hospital, Warragul, aged 93 years.
Dearly loved second son of Tripo (Ted) and Elsie (both dec).
Much loved brother of Ted (dec), Les, Linda (Madill) and Elsie (Harris).
Brother-in-law of Rosalie, Lynn, Frank, and Don. Father of Jennifer.
Loving Grandpa of Emma and Ben, and Bronte.
Proud Great Grandpa of Ted, Tallulah, Eilee, Moe and Jack. Treasured uncle to his many
nephews & nieces.
A heartfelt thankyou to the wonderful doctors, nursing and allied staff at the W.G.H., who cared for Ernie in his last weeks and hours.
Much loved elder brother of Linda Madill. Loved brother-in-law of Frank and loved uncle of Christine and Catherine. Great uncle of Sarah and Alastair.

A Service to celebrate the life of Ernie Matkovich will be held at the Nielsen Funeral Chapel, Korumburra Rd, Warragul on FRIDAY (May 15) at 1.30 pm.
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
The Service will also be live-streamed.
