Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at St John of God Hospital, Berwick on January 1, 2025.
Aged 82 years.
Dearly loved and loving husband of Linda for 53 years.
Much loved father of Simon and Nigel and father-in-law of Amanda and Catherine.
Adored Grandad of Eloise, Jacqui, Stephen, Ben, Nae, Kate and Liam.
Loving Great Grandad of Amity, Layqen and Willow.
Forever loved and always remembered, he will be sorely missed by us and all who knew him.
A Service to celebrate the life of Mr Michael Thorne will be held at the Nielsen Funeral Chapel, Korumburra Rd, Warragul on FRIDAY (January 10) at 2pm.​​​

The Service will also be live-streamed.

A Private Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Michael may be made to the oncology unit at
St John of God Hospital, Berwick. Envelopes will be available at the Service.
