Nielsen Funerals COVID Statement and Information

The team at Nielsen Funerals are very grateful to the families we serve and the greater community for 
support and understanding and for adhering to the many changes during an already difficult time.

For both Metropolitan and Regional areas the same restrictions now apply.
If all attendees are fully vaccinated,
There is no limit on the number of people permitted to attend a funeral service
and density restrictions are no longer in place.

The restrictions state that if any attendees are not fully vaccinated
a limit of 50 people applies for both indoor and outdoor services.

Nielsen Funerals continues to follow guidelines from the Department of Health.
Our primary concern is for the health and safety of the families we serve, their loved ones, the community and our staff. Nielsen Funerals continue to provide our client families will full funeral options to honour their loved one,
including catering with COVID safe measures, 

Check in via QR code is required at indoor funeral services
QR codes are supplied at funeral venues for contact tracing.
The staff at Nielsen Funerals are able to assist and check in those who do not carry a mobile phone.

With the permission of the family, Nielsen Funerals can continue to 
live-stream and record Services from our Chapel and other venues

You are very welcome to use our website to send a condolence message,
This can be done as either a public comment or private message which will then be forwarded to the family.

A digital copy of service booklets and/or keepsake cards can also be emailed to those unable to attend
funeral services by emailing 
Please state the name of the person 
whose booklet or keepsake you would like and we will forward it to you when possible.

As a precautionary measure, if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms
we would respectfully suggest that you do not attend a funeral service.
